Contact Improvisation Happenings
23.10.2017, ob 14:30
The intent of this performance is to create a sound/movement ecosystem formed by alternating moments of music and silence and from which the dancers can take cues.
The musicians are books to experiment spontaneously musical forms and ideas in order to seek, during the dance, a continuous symbiotic exchange with the dancers. Each influencing the other and vice versa.
The performance will happen between 2:30pm and 4:30pm and we invite you to join us and see it for yourself. Sit down, grab a coffee and some of your favourite biscuits and watch the spontaneous performance.
Davide Casiraghi is a dancer, Contact Improvisation teacher and Yoga Alliance certified teacher based in Slovenia. He is exploring Contact Improvisation since 2010. His study is started in Milan and continue in Europe with the many teachers. Roberto Lun, Nita Little, Martin Keogh, Angela Dony, Nancy Stark Smith are his main influences. He see CI as a way to re-awake and enjoy fully our sensitivity and playfulness, working on trust, explore curiosity about movement principles out of daily movement patterns.
Nicola Brisotto is a tinker, he loves to breathe and dance. He works and lives in Padua, Italy. To feed his curiosity, he travels as much as he can. He danced with “VIA Danza Urbana”, a Padua dance Company, from 2008 until 2012. In 2015 he discovered contact improvisation as a new skin to discover a world of sensations and sentiments.
